1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Candle Master ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Candle Master is a trading simulator game designed for educational purposes. The Service allows users to practice stock trading using historical market data in a simulated environment.

Important:

  • Candle Master is NOT a financial advisor, broker, or investment platform.
  • No real money is traded within the game.
  • Historical stock data is used for educational simulation only.
  • Past performance in the simulator does not indicate future real-world results.
  • We do not provide investment advice or recommendations.

3. User Accounts

  • You may sign in using your Google account through Firebase Authentication.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free and PRO Plans

Candle Master offers a free tier with limited features and a PRO subscription with expanded access. Current pricing and feature details are available within the app and on our website.

4.2 Payment Processing

  • Web (PWA): Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
  • iOS: Payments are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system and are subject to Apple's Terms.
  • Android: Payments are processed through Google Play Billing and are subject to Google Play's Terms.

4.3 Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle until cancelled. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4.4 Yearly Plans

Yearly plans provide access to PRO features for 12 months at a discounted rate. Yearly subscriptions auto-renew annually and can be cancelled at any time.

4.5 Refunds

  • Web (Stripe): Refund requests can be made within 7 days of purchase by contacting us at [email protected].
  • iOS / Android: Refunds are handled by Apple or Google respectively, per their refund policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the Service
  • Share or redistribute PRO content without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to design, graphics, characters, sounds, and code — are owned by Candle Master and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Financial Advice

The Service is for educational and entertainment purposes only. Nothing in Candle Master constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other sort of advice. You should not treat any of the content as such. We do not recommend that any financial instrument should be bought, sold, or held by you. Trading and investing in financial markets involves risk. Always do your own research and consult with a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Candle Master shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email.
